The Georgia State University Convocation Center is a modern, flexible and easily accessible multipurpose event facility in the heart of downtown Atlanta, on one of the most dynamic campuses in the country. Opened in fall 2022 with capacity for up to 8,000 guests, it’s played host to athletic competitions, First-Year Convocation, commencement ceremonies and other major events, including the 2023 inauguration of Georgia’s governor. The facility also features available on-site guest parking, divisible meeting and conference spaces, and state-of-the-art video, lighting, sound and building-control systems.
